AN ACT DECLARING JUNE 17 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAGSAYSAY, PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL SUR, IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of thePhilippines in Congress assembled;
SECTION 1. June 17 of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the Municipality of Magsaysay, Province of Davao del Sur, in commemoration of its foundation anniversary. However, upon proclamation of the President, June 17 of every year shall be a special non-working holiday in the Municipality of Magsaysay, Province of Davao del Sur.
SEC. 2. -This Act shall become effective fifteen (15) days after its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives on November 21, 2022, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on June 3, 2025, and which amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on June 10, 2025.
