REPUBLIC ACT NO. 12261 AN ACT ESTABLISHING IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LILOY, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE, A LEVEL II GENERAL HOSPITAL TO BE KNOWN AS THE LILOY GENERAL HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR September 05, 2025

AN ACT ESTABLISHING IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LILOY, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE, A LEVEL II GENERAL HOSPITAL TO BE KNOWN AS THE LILOY GENERAL HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:   

SECTION 1. There shall be established in the Municipality of Liloy, Province of Zamboanga del Norter, a Level II general hospital to be known as the Liloy General Hospital,  which shall be under the direct control and supervision of the Department of Health (DOH).  

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Health shall immediately include in in the Department's program the implementation of this Act, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.   

SEC. 3. If any provision of this Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining parts or provisions not affected shall remain in full force and effect.   

SEC. 4. All laws, executive orders, issuances, and rules and regulations inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.   

SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives on December 18, 2024, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on June 9, 2025, and which amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on June 10, 2025.
