AN ACT UPGRADING THE OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE (LTO) IN THE CITY OF BAGUIO INTO A CLASS "A" DISTRICT OFFICE, PROVIDING POSITIONS THERETO, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The district office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in the City of Baguion is hereby converted into a Class "A" district office, providing the appropriate personnel for its operation.
SEC. 2. The Secretary of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the Department's program the operationalization of the LTO Class "A" District Office in the City of Baguio, the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the said office. Thereafter, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives on September 4, 2024, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on December 18, 2024, and which amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on January 21, 2025.
