REPUBLIC ACT NO. 12133 AN ACT CONVERTING THE EXTENSION OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NAGUILIAN, PROVINCE OF LA UNION, INTO A "CLASS D" DISTRICT OFFICE, TO BE KNOWN AS THE LTO DISTRICT OFFICE OF NAGUILIAN, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR March 14, 2025

AN ACT CONVERTING THE EXTENSION OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NAGUILIAN, PROVINCE OF LA UNION, INTO A "CLASS D" DISTRICT OFFICE, TO BE KNOWN AS THE LTO DISTRICT OFFICE OF NAGUILIAN, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Extension Office in the Municipality of Naguilian, Province of La Union, is hereby converted into a "Class D" district office, to be known as the LTO District Office of Naguilian.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the "Class D" LTO District Office in the Municipality of Naguilian, Province of La Union, the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the existing LTO naguilian Extension Office. Thereafter, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on January 23, 2024 and December 18, 2024, respectively.
