AN ACT DECLARING JUNE 24 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALAYAN, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, IN CELEBRATION OF THE "PARADA NG LECHON"
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. June 24 of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the Municipality of Balayan, Province of Batangas, in celebration of the"Parada ng Lechon."Upon proclamation of the President, June 24 of every year shall be a special non-working holiday in the said municipality.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives on November 21, 2022, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on December 17, 2024, and which amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on June 4, 2025.
