AN ACT RENAMING BARANGAY STA. MARIA IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PRESENTACION, PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR AS BARANGAY PARUBCAN
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. Barangay Sta. Maria in the Municipality of Presentacion, Province of Camarines Sur is hereby renamed as Barangay Parubcan.
SEC. 2. The renaming of Barangay Sta. Maria as Barangay Parubcan shall be effective upon ratification of the majority of the votes cast by qualified voters in a plebiscite to be conducted and supervised by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) in the present Barangay Sta. Maria.
The expenses for such plebiscite shall be borne by the Municipality of Presentacion, Camarines Sur.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives on February 10, 2022, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on January 31, 2022, and which amendment was concurred in by the House of Representatives on February 2, 2022.
