REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11502 AN ACT DECLARING THE MONTH OF OCTOBER OF VERY YEAR AS THE "NATIONAL COOPERATIVE MONTH" December 16, 2020

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Cooperative Development Authority, in consultation with and in partnership with the cooperative development councils, cooperatives development officers, national and local federations and union of cooperatives, and other agencies of the government, shall conduct activities and programs that promote the principles and values of cooperatives and encourage cooperative movement.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days following its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which was originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives on May 6, 2020, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on July 28, 2020, and which amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on August 26, 2020.
