AN ACT DECLARING SEPTEMBER 21 OP EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF CEBU AND THE ENTIRE PROVINCE OF CEBU, INCLUDING ITS HIGHLY URBANIZED AND COMPONENT CITIES, TO BE KNOWN AS "CEBU PRESS FREEDOM DAY'
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of thePhilippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. September 21 of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the City of Cebu and the entire Province of Cebu, including its highly urbanized and component cities, to be known as "Cebu Press Freedom Day".
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on July 26, 2017 and September 3, 2018, respectively.
