AN ACT DECLARING MAY 22 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF GUIMARAS IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS ANNIVERSARY AS A PROVINCE
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of thePhilippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. May 22 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking holiday in the Province of Guimaras in commemoration of its anniversary as a province.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on December 4, 2017 and September 3, 2018, respectively.
