AN ACT DECLARING JUNE 15 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF OPOL, PROVINCE OF MISAMIS ORIENTAL, IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY, TO BE KNOWN AS "ARAW NG OPOL"
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of thePhilippines in Congress assembled:
This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on May 22, 2017 and September 17 2018 respectively.
SECTION 1. June 15 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking holiday in the Municipality of Opol, Province of Misamis Oriental, in commemoration of its founding anniversary, to be known as "Araw ng Opol".
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.
