AN ACT DECLARING SEPTEMBER 1 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF JASAAN, PROVINCE OF MISAMIS ORIENTAL, IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS FOUNDING, ANNIVERSARY, TO BE KNOWN AS "ARAW NG JASAAN"
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of thePhilippines in Congress assembled:
This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on May 22, 2017 and September 17, 2018 respectively.
SECTION 1. September 1 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking holiday in the Municipality of Jasaan, Province of Misamis Oriental, in commemoration of its founding anniversary, to be known as "Araw ng Jasaan".
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.
