REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9228 AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE SECOND DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE IN THE PROVINCE OF CAPIZ TO BE LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DUMALAG AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR November 28, 2003

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Public Works and Highways, a second engineering district in the Province of Capiz, covering the municipalities of Dumalag, Sigma, Jamindan, Mambusao, Sapian, Tapaz, Cuartero, Dao, Dumarao and Ivisan, to be located in the Municipality of Dumalag and to be known as the Capiz Second Engineering District.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways shall include in its program the funding requirements for the operationalization of the Capiz Second Engineering District in the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
