AN ACT DECLARING AUGUST TENTH OF EACH YEAR AS A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF MAASIN, PROVINCE OF SOUTHERN LEYTE



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. August ten (August 10) of each year is hereby declared a special nonworking holiday in the City of Maasin Province of Southern Leyte to commemorate its Charter Day Anniversary.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and Senate on February 11, 2003 and January 22, respectively.
