REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9041 AN ACT NAMING THE NATIONAL ROAD FROM CROSSING CORONACION TO BARANGAY TALUBANGI IN THE CITY OF KABANKALAN, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL AS JUSTICE JESUS Y. PEREZ MEMORIAL HIGHWAY March 22, 2001

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Justice Jesus Y. Perez was the first and only Kabankalanon to serve as Justice to the Philippine Court of Appeals.

SEC. 2. To perpetuate his memory, the national road from Crossing Coronacion to Barangay Talubangi in the City of Kabankalan, Province of Negros Occidental is hereby named Justice Jesus Y. Perez Memorial Highway.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
