REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8808 AN ACT SEPARATING THE BACARRA NATIONAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL - CADARATAN ANNEX LOCATED IN BARANGAY CADARATAN, MUNICIPALITY OF BACARRA, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE FROM THE BACARRA NATIONAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BACARRA, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE AND CONVERTING THE SAME INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE CADARATAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR August 16, 2000

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The existingBacarraNational ComprehensiveHigh School -CadaratanAnnex located inBarangayCadaratan,Municipality ofBacarra, Province ofIlocosNorte is herebyseparated from theBacarraNational Comprehensive High Schoolsituated in the Municipality ofBacarra, Province ofIlocosNorteand converted into an independent national high school to beknown as theCadaratanNational High School.

SEC. 2.The Department of Education, Culture and Sportsshall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary tocarry out the purpose of this Act.

SEC. 3.All personnel, records, assets and liabilities of theBacarraNational Comprehensive High School -CadaratanAnnexare hereby transferred to and absorbed by theCadaratanNationalHigh School.

SEC. 4.The amount necessary for the implementation ofthis Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriationsof theBacarraNational High School -CadaratanAnnex.Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the operation andmaintenance of theCadaratanNational High School shall beincluded in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 5.This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
