REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7246 AN ACT EXPANDING THE CARIGARA DISTRICT HOSPITAL, WITH A TWENTY-FIVE-BED CAPACITY, IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CARIGARA, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, INTO A FIFTY-BED CAPACITY DISTRICT HOSPITAL March 19, 1992

AN ACT EXPANDING THE CARIGARA DISTRICT HOSPITAL, WITH A TWENTY-FIVE-BED CAPACITY, IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CARIGARA, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, INTO A FIFTY-BED CAPACITY DISTRICT HOSPITAL



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Carigara District Hospital, with a twenty-five-bed capacity, in the Municipality of Carigara, Province of Leyte, is hereby expanded into a fifty-bed capacity district hospital.

SEC. 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be charged against the lump-sum appropriations authorized for the purpose under the current General Appropriations Act.  Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of the hospital shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on January 23, 1991 and December 3, 1991, respectively.
