AN ACT DECLARING SEPTEMBER THIRTEEN AS BATTLE OFPULANG LUPADAY AND A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF MARINDUQUE
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. Every September thirteen is hereby declared as Battle ofPulang LupaDay and a special non-working holiday in the Province of Marinduque to commemorate the battle ofPulang Lupa.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on September 22, 1988 and December 2, 1988, respectively.
