REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6830 AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE MUNICIPAITY OF BACUNGAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE, TO MUNICIPALITY OF LEON T. POSTIGO December 30, 1989
[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6830, December 30, 1989 ]
AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE MUNICIPAITY OF BACUNGAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE, TO MUNICIPALITY OF LEON T. POSTIGO
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The name of the Municipality of Bacungan, Province of Zamboanga del Norte, created under Batas Pambansa Blg. 204, is hereby changed to Municipality of Leon T. Postigo.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its publication in at least two (2) newspapers of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on November 21, 1989 and September 22, 1989, respectively.
