AN ACT CREATING THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN JOSE DE BUAN IN THE PROVINCE OF WESTERN SAMAR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The Municipal District of San Jose de Buan in the Province of Western Samar is hereby converted into a regular municipality, to be known as the Municipality of San Jose de Buan.
SEC. 2. The incumbent mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors of the Municipal District of San Jose de Buan at the time of the approval of this Act shall continue to hold their respective offices in the new municipality until their successors shall have been elected in the next general elections for local officials and shall have qualified.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Enacted without Executive approval, June 21,1969.
SEC. 2.
