AN ACT AMENDING SECTION FIFTY-FOUR OF THE JUDICIARY ACT OF 1948, AS AMENDED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The eleventh paragraph of Section fifty-four of Republic Act Numbered Two hundred ninety-six, otherwise known as "The Judiciary Act of 1948," as amended, is further amended to read as follows:

"Thirteenth Judicial District: The Catbalogan branch to hold court at Basey, Samar, on the first Tuesday of January of each year; the Laoang branch, at Gamay, same province, on the first Tuesday of July of each year."SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved, June 19, 1965.
