REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2350 AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF EIGHT MILLION TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-EIGHT THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED FOUR PESOS FOR THE CURRENT OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED TWENTY ADDITIONAL EXTENSION CLASSES ORGANIZED IN AUGUST AND NOVEMBER, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY-EIGHT. June 20, 1959

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The sum of eight million two hundred thirty-eight thousand three hundred four pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of the three thousand five hundred twenty additional elementary classes organized in August and November, nineteen hundred and fifty-eight, up to the end of the current fiscal year, in the following manner and form:

Salaries of 3,500 elementary grades teachers, at P1,920per annumfor eleven (11) months	P6,160,000
Salaries of 20 elementary grades teachers, at P1,920per annumfor eight (8) months	25,600
Life insurance premiums, government share, at threeper centumof salary	185,568
Retirement insurance premiums, government share, at sixper centumof salary	371,136
For the purchase of textbooks, at P225 per class	792,000
For the purchase of furniture and equipment, at P200 per class	704,000
Total	8,238,304

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved, June 20, 1959.
