AN ACT FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF THE OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF MANILA



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The provision of the Revised Charter of the City of Manila, as amended, to the contrary notwithstanding, officials of the said city shall receive the following annual compensation:
Mayor
Pl5,000.00
Vice-Mayor
13,000.00
Councilors
10,000.00
City Engineer
12,000.00
City Treasurer
12,000.00
Chief of Police
12,000.00
Chief, Fire Department
12,000.00
City Assessor
12,000.00
City Health Officer
12,000.00
City Public Service Officer
12,000.00
City Auditor
12,000.00
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved, June 22, 1957.
