AN ACT PROVIDING THAT THE REGISTERS OF DEEDS OF THE PROVINCES OF MISAMIS ORIENTAL, AGUSAN AND NUEVA ECIJA SHALL BE THE EX OFFICIO REGISTERS OF DEEDS FOR THE CITIES OF CAGAYAN DE ORO, BUTUAN AND CABANATUAN, RESPECTIVELY, WHILE SAID CITIES CONTINUE TO BE THE CAPITALS OF SAID PROVINCES.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Any provision of existing law to the contrary notwithstanding, the registers of deeds of the Provinces of Misamis Oriental, Agusan and Nueva Ecija shall beex officioregisters of deeds for the Cities of Cagayan de Oro, Butuan and Cabanatuan, respectively, while said cities continue as the capitals of said provinces, and shall each receive an additional compensation of five hundred pesosper annum, payable from the funds of the city concerned. SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved, August 14, 1952.
