What the Supreme Court's decisions show taken together — how cases reach the Court and how long they take, what it does with the rulings below, where cases come from, and how the justices vote. Each decision's own figures are in the Analytics tab of its reader.

Every figure is read from the text of the decisions by pattern matching, not checked case by case, so treat it as a guide, not a finding. The library holds signed decisions and resolutions; most petitions end in unsigned minute resolutions that are not in it, so a rate here is not the odds of a petition filed. How much each era's decisions state is under Method.
