EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 13-A MODIFYING THE RATES OF IMPORT DUTY ON CERTAIN IMPORTED ARTICLES AS PROVIDED UNDER REPUBLIC ACT NUMBER NINETEEN HUNDRED THIRTY-SEVEN, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE TARIFF AND CUSTOMS CODE OF THE PHILIPPINES. June 28, 1962

Pursuant to the powers vested in me by section 401 of Republic Act Number Nineteen Hundred Thirty-Seven, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, do hereby direct and order:

SECTION 1. The articles specifically listed hereunder as classified under section 104 of Republic Act Number Nineteen Hundred Thirty-Seven shall pay the, following rates of import duty:

		C. Other	kg. P5.40 or ad val. 100%
		D. Duck and canvass weighing over 30 kgs. per 100 square meters	kg. P2.00 or ad val. 40%
55.10	Other woven fabrics figured, of cotton:
		A. In the grey	kg. P3.00 or ad val. 50%
		B. Bleached	kg. P4.50 or ad val. 75%
		C. Other	kg. P6.00 or ad val. 100%
63.03	Remnants	ad val. 30%
73.12	Hoop and strip of iron or steel, hot-rolled or cold-rolled	ad val. 7 ½ %
90.13	Optical appliances and instruments (including searchlights and spotlights, not falling within any other heading of this Chapter:
		A. Operating lamps	ad val. 20%
		B. Other	ad val. 40%
90.26	Gas, liquid, and electricity supply or production meters; calibrating meters therefor:
		A. Totalizing water meters, sizes 5/8 x ½ inch, ¾ inch and 1 inch	ad val. 60%

SEC. 2. After the expiration of thirty (30) days from the issuance of this Order, all the above-described articles entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, in the Philippines, for consumption shall be subject to the rates of import duty herein prescribed.
