DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 29 OCTOBER 2025, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MATI, PROVINCE OF DAVAO ORIENTAL



WHEREAS,the City of Mati, Province of Davao Oriental celebrates the Sambuokan Festival every last weekend of October in commemoration of its date of establishment as a municipality before eventually becoming a city;

WHEREAS,  on 29 October 2025 Wednesday, the City of Mati, Province of Davao Oriental will mark the celebration of the Sumbuokan Festival;

WHEREAS,it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Mati be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I,LUCAS P. BERSAMIN,Executive Secretary, by authority of the President,FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR.,do hereby declare Wednesday, 29 October 2025, a special (non-working) day in the City of Mati, Province of Davao Oriental.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF,I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the President to be affixed.
