PROCLAMATION NO. 1012 DECLARING FRIDAY, 12 SEPTEMBER 2025, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SIQUIJOR, PROVINCE OF SIQUIJOR September 04, 2025

WHEREAS,on 12 September 1972, President Ferdinand E. Marcos signed Proclamation No. 1075 declaring the Municipality of Siquijor as the capital of the Province of Siquijor;

WHEREAS,on 12 September 2025, Friday, the Municipality of Siquijor will mark the celebration of its 53^rdAnniversary as the capital of the Province of Siquijor;

WHEREAS,it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Siquijor be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I,LUCAS P. BERSAMIN,Executive Secretary, by the authority of the President,FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR.,do hereby declare Friday, 12 September 2025, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Siquijor, Province of Siquijor.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF,I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the President to be affixed.
