PROCLAMATION NO. 936 DECLARING THURSDAY, 02 APRIL 2020, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BATAAN March 24, 2020

WHEREAS,02 April 2020, Thursday, will mark the celebration of the birth anniversary of Francisco "Balagtas" Baltazar, a prominent Filipino poet and orator;

WHEREAS,Francisco "Balagtas" Baltazar, a notable Tagalog writer, married a maiden from Orion, Bataan, resided in the town of Orion, became productive in his art form, and died in the same town in 1862; and

WHEREAS,it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Bataan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA,Executive Secretary, by authority of the President,RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE,do hereby declare Thursday, 02 April 2020, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Bataan.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF,I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
