DECLARING MONDAY, 18 FEBRUARY 2019, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BAYAWAN, PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL
WHEREAS,theTawo-TawoFestival reflects the culture of the City of Bayawan being a rice granary of the southern part of the Province of Negros Oriental;
WHEREAS,to enable the people of the City of Bayawan to celebrate and participate in the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bayawan requested that Monday, 18 February 2019, be declared a special (non-working) day, in celebration of theTawo-TawoFestival; and
WHEREAS,it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Bayawan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA,Executive Secretary, by authority of the President,RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE,do hereby declare Monday, 18 February 2019, a special (non-working) day in the City of Bayawan, Province of Negros Oriental.
