PROCLAMATION NO. 579 DECLARING THURSDAY, 20 SEPTEMBER 2018, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DINGRAS, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE September 10, 2018

WHEREAS,Josefa Llanes Escoda, a World War II Heroine and the Founder of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, was born on 20 September 1898 in Dingras, Ilocos Norte;

WHEREAS,on 20 September 2018, a Thursday, the Municipality of Dingras, Province of Ilocos Norte, will mark the birth anniversary of Josefa Llanes Escoda; and

WHEREAS,it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Dingras be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C, MEDIALDEA,Executive Secretary, by authority of the President,RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE,do hereby declare Thursday, 20 September 2018, a special (non-working)'day in the Municipality of Dingras, Province of Ilocos Norte.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF,I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
