CLASSIFYING BORACAY ISLAND SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MALAY, PROVINCE OF AKLAN INTO FORESTLAND (PROTECTION PURPOSES) AND INTO AGRICULTURAL LAND (ALIENABLE AND DISPOSABLE) PURSUANT TO PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 705 (REVISED FORESTRY REFORM CODE OF THE PHILIPPINES)

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and pursuant to the powers vested upon me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby classify Boracay Island situated in the Municipality of Malay, Province of Aklan as Forestland (Protection purposes) and Agricultural Land (Alienable and Disposable) in accordance with the provisions of Commonwealth Act 141, otherwise known as the Public Land Act and Section 13 of Presidential Decree No. 705 otherwise known as Forestry Reform Code of the Philippines, subject to actual ground survey and delineation, which is more particularly described as follows:
