DECLARING MONDAY, JUNE 20, 2005, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CALAMBA

   WHEREAS,Sunday, June 19, 2005, marks the 144th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal;

    WHEREAS,to enable the people of the City of Calamba to celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Sangguniang Panlungsod requested that Monday June 20, 2005 be declared as special (non-working) day instead of June 19, 2005, which falls on Sunday;

    WHEREAS,it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Calamba, be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA,Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency,GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO,do hereby declare Monday, June 20, 2005, as special (non-working) day in the City of Calamba.

    IN WITNESS THEREOF,I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
