PROCLAMATION NO. 901 DECLARING MONDAY, AUGUST 29, 2005 A SPECIAL ( NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR AND IN ALL SCHOOLS (PUBLIC AND PRIVATE) AT ALL LEVELS August 27, 2005

WHEREAS,August 18 this year in National Heroes Day;

WHEREAS,it is fitting that this day be given its importance especially by the public sector as well as all schools;

NOW, THEREFORE, I EDUARDO R. ERMITA,Executive Secretary, by authority of Her ExcellencyGLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO,President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Monday, August 29, 2005 a special (non-working ) day in the public sector ( except the Bureau of Customs ) as well as all schools, both public and private, at all levels, in commemoration of National Heroes Day.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF,I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
