NTC MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 006-10-2010 CERTIFICATE TO IMPORT FEE October 04, 2010

WHEREAS,Memorandum Circular No. 19-12-2000 (MC 19-12-2000) provides the schedule of fees and charges for permits, licenses, and certificates issued by the National Telecommunications Commission (Commission);

WHEREAS,Sec. 2 (XIV) of MC 19-12-2000 provides that the permit fee for authority/permit to import telecommunications, broadcast, customer premises equipment (CPE), spare parts and accessories is PhP240/invoice;

WHEREAS,certificate to import issued to public telecommunications entities (PTEs) is the same as authority to import covered by Sec. 2 (XIV) of MC 19-12-2000;

NOW, THEREFORE,pursuant to RA 7925, Executive Order (EO) No. 546 series of 1979, and Act No. 3846, as amended (Radio Control Law), the National Telecommunications Commission (the Commission/NTC, for brevity) hereby ORDER the imposition of PhP240.00 per invoice fee for all certificates to import issued to PTEs.

Any circular, order, memoranda or parts thereof inconsistent herewith are deemed repealed or amended accordingly.

This Order shall take effect immediately upon publication in a newspaper of general circulation and three (3) certified true copies are furnished the UP Law Center.
