PHILRACOM RESOLUTION NO. 34-10 GUIDELINES TO GOVERN THE EXIT POINT OF 3YO TO 4YO HANDICAPPING FOR 2011 BASED ON EARNINGS November 11, 2010

WHEREAS, the Philippine Racing Commission (Philracom) has the exclusive jurisdiction and control over the conduct of horseracing including the framing and scheduling of races as provided in Presidential Decree No. 420;

WHEREAS, as the year 2010 draws to a close, the Philracom has determined the necessity of coming up with an exit point of three (3) year old to four (4) year old Handicapping for 2011 based on earnings of the said horses;

WHEREAS, THE Philracom Handicapping Committee has conceptualized a set of proposed guidelines for the exit point of 3YO to 4YO Handicapping for 2011 based on earnings, as follows:

- ALL HORSES WITH ZERO(0)EARNING OR NON-EARNERS WILL GO TO CLASS DIVISION 1(CD1)

- ALL HORSES WITHPhp1,00toPhp99,999EARNINGS WILL GO TO CLASS DIVISION 2(CD2)

- ALL HORSES WITHPhp100,000toPhp199,999EARNINGS WILL GO TO CLASS DIVISION 3(CD3)

- ALL HORSES WITHPhP200,000toPhp399,999EARNINGS WILL GO TO CLASS DIVISION 4(CD4)

- ALL HORSES WITHPhp400,000toPhp599,999EARNINGS WILL GO TO CLASS DIVISION 5(CD5)

- ALL HORSES WITHPhp600,000toPhp799,999EARNINGS WILL GO TO CLASS DIVISION 6(CD6)

- ALL HORSES WITHPhp800,000toPhp999,999EARNINGS WILL GO TO CLASS DIVISION 7(CD7)

NOW, THEREFORE, the Philracom resolves, as it hereby resolved, to adopt the foregoing Guidelines that shall govern the exit point of 3YO to 4YO Handicapping for 2011 based on earnings.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that this set of guidelines as incorporated in this Resolution be published in the Kopya and the Official Gazette/UP Law Center and be announced in the television for proper guidance of those concerned.
