SUSPENSION OF DOCUMENTARY PROCESSING AND DEPLOYMENT OF OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKERS (OFWS) BOUND FOR IRAQ
Effective immediately, the processing of employment contracts and deployment of OFWs bound for Iraq are hereby suspended.
ThePhilippine Overseas Employment Administrationis hereby instructed to consult and coordinate with theDepartment of Foreign Affairsand thePresidential Middle East Preparedness Committee-Task Force Iraqfor the re-assessment of the prevailing situation in that country as it affects the safety, security, welfare and protection of the OFWs.
