NTC DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 2004-40 AMENDING DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 2003-02 August 04, 2004

Pursuant to the provisions of Act 3846, as amended by Commonwealth Act No. 571, Executive Order No. 546 and in order to promote and enhance the amateur radio service in the Philippines and to conform with the standards of International Radio Regulations, Department Order No. 2003-02 is hereby amended to read as follows:

"Code Test shall be required for Class A only and the Speed Requirement shall be 5 wpm."

This Circular shall take effect fifteen (15) days after publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation and the filing of three certified copies hereof with the University of the Philippines Law Center.
