ADDITIONAL DRUG FOR INCLUSION TO THE PHILHEALTH LIST OF REIMBURSABLE DRUGS (POSITIVE LIST)
Pursuant to the PhilHealth Board Resolution No. 349, s. 2000, the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) has approved the drug meloxicam for inclusion to its positive list. Claims for this drug will be reimbursed only when used for rheumatoid arthritis, acute lumbago and osteoarthritis.
This circular shall take effect onall admissions starting 01 February 2003and expires01 February 2004if, by then, the drug is not included in the Philippine National Drug Formulary.
