U.S. TEXTILE VISAS NO LONGER REQUIRED FOR QUOTA ELIMINATED (INTEGRATED) PRODUCTS EFFECTIVE JANUARY 01, 1999

1. Please be informed that effective 01 January 1999, all Philippine garments & textile exports where quotas were eliminated (integrated), as enumerated below will no longer require textile visa upon entry into the United States.

The following are the products/categories that will not require textile visa to the U.S.

A. Whole Categories For Which Visas Will No Longer Be Required

239	Babies' garments, except diapers
330	Handkerchiefs
349	Brassieres and other body supporting garments
353	Men's and boys' down-filled coats
354	Women's and girls' down-filled coats
432	Hosiery
439	Babies garments and clothing accessories
465	Floor coverings
630	Handkerchiefs
632	Hosiery
653	Men's and boys' down-filled coats
654	Women's and girls' down-filled coats
665	Floor coverings
832	Hosiery
839	Babies' garments and clothing accessories
899	Other silk blend and vegetable fiber (SBOV) manufactures

B. Part Categories For Which Visas Will No Longer Be Required

Part Category	Description

359-pt	Cotton leg warmers in HTS heading 6406
369-pt	Cotton wadding in HTS Chapters 56, floor coverings in HTS Chapter 57, & cotton footwear parts in HTS Chapter 64
459-pt	Wool footwear and leg warmers in HTS Chapter 64
469-pt	Wool wadding and floor covering underlays in HTS Chapter 56 and parts of footwear in HTS Chapter 64
659-pt	Manmade fiber leg warmers in HTS Chapter 64
669-pt	Manmade fiber wadding and cordage in HTS Chapter 56
859-pt	SBOV: All items except pantyhose and tights, shawls scarves, and mufflers, brassieres, girdles, corsets, suspenders and braces

2. This Office shall still issue the Textile Export Clearance (TEC) for all the above products before any shipment is effected.

3. Submission of Bill of Lading/Airwaybill in accordance with the rules shall be required for monitoring purposes.
