INSTALLATION OF OCEANOGRAPHIC INSTRUMENTS IN THE MUSCAT GOVERNORATE AREA
The Department of Foreign Affairs has informed this Administration that the Ministry of Communication in Oman has issued a notice to all masters sailing in the Governorate of Muscat area that oceanographic instruments will be operational for one year in the following areas:
Mina Al Fahl: 23º 40'.29 N 58º 30'.84 E 23º 38'.74 N 58º 32'.63 E Juzur Damaniyat: 23º 49' N 58º 05' E
Mariners are therefore requested not to anchor or conduct fishing operations within 500 meters from these positions.
