STRICT IMPLEMENTATION OF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 115, SERIES OF 1992, REGARDING PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT THROUGH THE ADVERTISEMENT OF THE APPROVED AGENCY ESTIMATE
It has been observed that some advertisements of locally-funded projects do not contain the amount of the Approved Agency Estimate (AAE) despite the issuance of Department Order No. 115, dated 4 August 1992, as provided in the recently amended Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of P.D. 1594.
Henceforth, unless directed otherwise, the corresponding AAEs of locally-funded projects must be part of the advertisement and/or the Instructions to Bidders, to afford common basis for all contractors participating in the bidding.
This Order shall take effect immediately.
