DPWH DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 100 SIMULTANEOUS BIDDING FOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS April 24, 1991

To provide for wider participation by the construction industry in the implementation of infrastructure projects of this Department and thus achieve more economical and efficient project execution, effective 7 May 1991 the public bidding for each of the following infrastructure projects shall be held simultaneously in the concerned District and Regional Offices, or the concerned Regional and Central Offices:

Projects		Offices to Conduct the Bidding
1.	Projects costing at least		District Engineering
	P500,000 but not more		Office & Regional
	than P3,000,000 each		Office concerned
2.	Projects costing at least		Regional Office
	P3,000,000 but not more		concerned and
	than P10,000,000 each		Central Office

It is understood that the simultaneous bidding for each of the above projects, including the advertisement, prequalification of contractors, preparation of agency estimate, receipt of bids, evaluation of bids, and award, shall be governed by the Implementing Rules and Regulations of P.D. No. 1594.
