SRA SUGAR ORDER NO. 8 QUEDAN ISSUANCE BEGINNING JANUARY 22, 1990 January 17, 1990

WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Agriculture released in January 1990 an additional quota (3rd announcement) of 43,464 MTRV or 41,994.20 MT commercial weight;

WHEREAS, to insure the filling of this additional quota on or before September 30, 1990, it is necessary to release an equivalent "C" reserve sugar;

NOW, THEREFORE, by virtue of the powers vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration, it is hereby ordered that:

SECTION 1.       Sugar produced from January 22, 1990 shall be quedanned in the following percentages:

"A" or export sugar---------	14%
"B" or domestic sugar-------	55%
"C" or reserve sugar---------	23%
"D" or world market sugar---	8%

SECTION 2.       Provisions of Sugar Orders, Circular Letters, rules and regulations inconsistent with this Order are hereby amended, modified or revoked accordingly.
