WORK FROM HOME ARRANGEMENT IN GOVERNMENT OFFICES IN THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION AND THE PROVINCES OF ILOCOS SUR, LA UNION, ZAMBALES, BATAAN, RIZAL, CAVITE, BATANGAS, OCCIDENTAL MINDORO, BENGUET, PANGASINAN, ABRA, TARLAC, PAMPANGA, ORIENTAL MINDORO AND BULACAN ON 10 AUGUST 2026



In anticipation of the continued heavy rainfall due to the Soutwest Monsoon, and upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, work from home arrangement in government offices shall be implemented in the National Capital Region and the provinces of Ilocos Sur, La Union, Zambales, Bataan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, Benguet, Pangasinan, Abra, Tarlac, Pampanga, Oriental Mindoro and Bulacan on 10 August 2026. Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented n the aforementioned areas on 10 August 2026.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services are hereby directed to continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Further thereto, the localized cancellation or suspension of classes and/or work in government offices in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives, pursuant to relevant laws, rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
