MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 122 SUSPENSION OF WORK IN GOVERMENT OFFICES AND CLASSES AT ALL LEVELS IN THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION AND THE PROVINCES OF ILOCOS SUR, LA UNION, BENGUET, PANGASINAN, ABRA, ZAMBALES, KALINGA, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, IFUGAO, ILOCOS NORTE, APAYAO, NUEVA VIZCAYA, TARLAC, NUEVA ECIJA, BATAAN, PAMPANGA, BULACAN, RIZAL, CAVITE, BATANGAS, LAGUNA AND OCCIDENTAL MINDORO ON 06 AUGUST 2026 August 05, 2026

Monsoon, and upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, work in government offices and classes at all levels in the National Capital  Region and the provinces of Ilocos Sur, La Union, Benguet, Pangasinan, Abra, Zambales, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Ilocos Norte, Apayao, Nueva Vizcaya, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna and Occidental Mindoro are hereby suspended on 06 August 2026.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services are hereby directed to continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Further thereto, the localized cancellation or suspension of classes and/or work in government offices in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives, pursuant to relevant laws, rules and regulations.

The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
