MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 42 DIRECTING ALL NATIONAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND INSTRUMENTALITIES, INCLUDING GOVERNMENT-OWNED OR -CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS, AND STATE UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES, TO ATTEND, PARTICIPATE AND PROVIDE FULL SUPPORT TO THE BAGONG PILIPINAS CAMPAIGN KICK-OFF RALLY January 16, 2024

WHEREAS,the Administration, through, Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 24 (s. 2023) launched theBagong Pilipinascampaign as its brand of governance and leadership towards attaining a promising future, focused on implementing an all-inclusive plan for deep and fundamental social and economic transformations in all sectors of society and government, and to foster the State's commitment towards the attainment of comprehensive policy reforms and full economic recovery;

WHEREAS,MC No. 24 also directed all national government agencies (NGAs) and instrumentalities, including government-owned or -controlled corporations (GOCCs), and state universities and colleges (SUCs), to be guided by the principles, strategies, and objectives of theBagong Pilipinasbrand of governance and leadership in planning their programs, activities, and projects, as well as their branding and communications strategy;

WHEREAS,MC No. 39 (s. 2023) designated the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), as the lead agency for theBagong PilipinasKick Off Rally; and

WHEREAS,the success of this campaign and call to action, requires the dynamic support of all government agencies and instrumentalities;

NOW, THEREFORE,all NGAs and instrumentalities, including GOCCs and SUCs, are hereby directed to participate in and extend full support for theBagong Pilipinas Kick Off Rallyon 28 January 2024 at the Quirino Grandstand, Manila.
